Flat deck but the volume is reduced by lowering the rails for sharper and more radical carves. Still a fair bit amount of volume under the chest giving that extra paddling power needed on weak, inconsistent beach break surfing. The wide tail makes the board loose making it very sensitive when tight turning in the pocket.

This is the ideal board for those intermediate to advanced surfers willing to push the limits of their surfing.
